Get out. Take a walk. Fly across the world.
It does not matter how far you travel, the important thing is that you get up and go. Whenever I find myself frustrated or anxious I find that simple walk can work wonders on my mood.
What worked even bigger wonders on my life was traveling around the world.

When I was living a life I thought should make me happy, I felt a sort of unrest everyday. I had a great job, active social life, and for the life of me could not figure out what was missing. I started blogs, companies, workout classes, and even meditated with a monk. I tried everything I could think of to try to fill this void I felt. I eventually decided that I needed to make a bigger change. I pinpointed that my lack of passion for my chosen career was a big point of unhappiness for me. However, I had no idea what type of job would fulfill me. So when I had no idea what to do I booked a one way ticket to Bali. That one simple step created a cascade of effects that lead me to where I am today.

Not only does he inspire us with this video (and bring me personally to tears) but Mike Posner also announced that on March 1st, 2019 he is going to walk across America. Why? Because according to him he can. But on a much deeper level I think it is because he understands how impactful traveling and getting out into the world truly us. He, like me two years ago, has no idea what this will lead to but knows that the effect it will have on him will be profound.
So next time you feel like you don't know what to do, travel. You will find that getting lost in the right direction is the best thing you can do for yourself.
